Most of us experienced brokenness and pain especially about our intimate relationship with someone we cherished. Even though we know that our relationship had already ended, we are still lingering and holding on hoping that everything will be back to normal. We are praying earnestly that the broken pieces will be put back together and we'll start over again. Sayang kasi yung relationship na na buo, eh... Everyday, we are wishing for "starting over again" moment to come. 

But, what if it won't? What if he/she has found another person to love? What if he/she has moved on already and has forgotten about you? Are you still willing to wait for that person? Are you still going to wait for his/her birthday/ Christmas/ New Year messages for you? Are you still going to wish that you'll be able to bump into him/her again? Are you still going to wait for the acceptance of the Friend Request you sent to him/her on Facebook? Are you still going to stalk his/her Facebook/ Instagram account? For how long are you going to do that? 3 months? 8 months? 1 year? 3 years? or 7 years?

I'm not saying that you should give up, agad-agad... I, myself, also experienced waiting and holding on for so long. It wasn't easy. It's just right to fight for that precious relationship, however, the question is, for how long are you going to fight for it? Holding on is never easy, much more on letting go and moving on. 

People say to forget the things that hurt you in the past, but never forget what it taught you. All the things that you have experienced, blissfulness or sadness, good or bad, will always have a part in your life and it contributed something to the person whom you've become today. While experiencing all those things, I believe that we've learned a very important lesson.That is, learning to LOVE YOURSELF first.

Cheer up guys! I believe that someone is meant for us. God will give him/her to us in the right time. If that time comes, we are going to be in love again and it will be magnificent.  So, if ever that "GG" or God's Gift will be given to you, cherish and love that person and above all, value and love more yourself... Let go and let God!
